    Thank you for that video. I really liked that video. The part about talking positive to yourself when you take down a note for a task. I didn't really think about it that way. I totally agree about being positive when you're taking a note. The tool that I use right now is AmpleNote. The reason why is because AkiFlow is really expensive for me. It seems to do tricks. It has a lot of features in it. Plus the Eisenhower method. I do use time blocking too. Also because it has a couple calendars that I use. Thank you again for that video. I appreciate it.

    I can resonate with this approach as I use a similar approach in amplenote instead of akiflow. I struggled following this approach using multiple apps as my notes were in evernote, tasks in todoist and calendar in google calendar. Amplenote helped bring this all in 1 place, and while it might not be as pretty as akiflow it gets the job done. And it has a generous free plan prior you decide to go pro (it's worth it if you ask me)

    Akiflow good. Amplenote better. why? Love how you subtly showed the akiflow application while explaining task management. Akiflow looks great with cool design and features. But I am afraid that's not the whole thing. Like how get we random thoughts throughout the day, they need capturing (joy down). Then while we are at it they need processing i.e elaborate on the 'note' or store them for future use. Then make 'tasks' from the notes as required. And finally having the notes side by side to drag into the calendar. This jot>note>task>calendar is the base of AmpleNote. Called Idea execution funnel. I just loveeee❤ this complete process of AmpleNote. Please try it and share your review on a future video. While I see that Amplenote is not as cool designed as Akiflow, it is better in functioning and have good enough design. Please try it and share your review on a future video.

    It's absurd that you end your video shilling a VPN to protect privacy, moments after you recommend TickTick, which are based in China and have no accountability whatsoever. Look through their Terms or Privacy Policy and you will find no mention of an address or which jurisdiction of law applies to your data. About 8 years ago, when they were still new and making a splash as a Todoist alternative, I looked up who owned the TickTick domain name. It was literally one guy, based in China, with a yahoo or hotmail account (I can't remember which). If you're so interested to ensure that your viewers protect their privacy with VPN, maybe don't recommend companies coming out of China that don't say a word about where your private data goes.

    You know what really bothers me - Akiflow and all others asking for my credit card numbers for the trial. WHY!?!?! Ask them when the trial is over, obviously! So frustrated about this. I do not even know if your product is worth a single penny. Let me first try it and not waste my time on adding my card numbers. STOP THAT! Immediately I cancel when someone asks for it. Hate it! You have a bad product if you desperately ask for your card before even showing me the product. It is a terrible product then for me.

    Before you go to the store and find some cute stationary,planner or a bunch of different colored highlighters ask yourself:,,Do I really need this?Is this going to improve my performance in school?"Just buy the cheapest possible notebook A5 format,there you have a planner,firstly use the old highlighters If you have them. And with aesthetic study spaces I find on RUclips or Pinterest,they look cute and all,but they are mostly cluttered,I personally can't work in such and environment,but If someone else can then okay. And I also see neat and organized notes with calligraphy looking letters and colors,tried doing that too but in reality,some professors talk really fast and there is no way to keep it neat and I am too exhausted when I come home and I can't make my notes aestheticish. I also have friends who prioritize more on keeping cute stationaries,aesthetic notes,notebooks,a bunch of highlighters and yet they are really falling behind with their exams.

    • @elisacordeiro4497
      @elisacordeiro4497 20 дней назад

      Well, you can create a habit tracker using different approaches -- paper planner, using an app or maybe building your own in Notion, Obsidian/Capacities/Todoist/Etc If you want to use a paper planner i think the bullet journal method it's a nice way to go Now if you want to build you own digita habit tracker and it's important to you that the tracker is integrated into a larger system, I would recommend better creating/simon's video on how to create one in Notion :D
